MedReview Is Honored to Celebrate with the Child Care Corporation

Giving Back to the Community

In celebration of the holiday season, we want to highlight an organization dedicated to spreading cheer all-year-round through strengthening the community and benefitting the lives of countless families.

For about 20 years, the New York City-based 1199SEIU/Employer Child Care Corporation (CCC) has provided education, enrichment, workforce preparation and college scholarships for children of 1199SEIU members. The 1199SEIU is the largest healthcare workers union in the United States.

The Care for Kids Gala, hosted annually by the CCC, is one of our favorite fundraising events, and we have supported it for many years.

“The CCC is an integral part of enriching the lives of 1199SEIU members,” noted Spencer Young, MedReview’s Chief Executive Officer. “By providing to those in need, families are able to substantially support their children throughout development and improve their overall quality of life.”

DON'T MISS AN UPDATE

Over the years, the CCC has expanded their services and expanded those they serve. Now, the CCC offers a wide range of programs, including daycare and after-school programs; summer sleep-away camps; career exploration programs and workforce mentorships; and need-based academic scholarships.

The Care for Kids Gala supports the vital work of the CCC and raises funds that are instrumental to their ability to serve the social, educational, and financial needs of children and their families. In 2021, the gala was held virtually and raised over $400,000 toward programming for the organization.

Their core values align with ours. Both organizations strive to deliver quality results, give back to the community, and foster excellence. MedReview is proud to support the CCC.
